Elmira Baptist Church is grateful that you have came to our website. It is our sincerest hope that we can be a help to you. If you do not have a home church or if you are just passing through the area we hope that you will come by and worship with us. We are an independent, fundamental, KJV Bible believing, Baptist Church. There is so little emphasis put on church attendance and church membership today. You find so many that are turned off when it comes to church. There have been many hurts that have come to people supposedly through the church. Anytime you have people, you will have disagreements. But I can say that I have never had any problem with the church - The Blood Bought Bride of Christ! One of these days we will all be perfect, and I look forward to that day. We are not inviting you to a perfect church, we are inviting you to a future perfect church. We are not inviting you to a place that you may not get hurt, but I am inviting you to a place where the hurts are soothed by God Himself. Attending church will not get you to heaven, but it will sure give you joy on your way to heaven. We are inviting you to be a part of our family, when you are hurt, we hurt with you. When you need prayer, we will pray with you. When you need help we would like to offer you the helping hand. We want to invite you to Elmira Baptist Church where we are not perfect, we are just forgiven.
